Please read Deuteronomy 32:8-47
This passage contains some of Moses’ last words to Israel.
Verse nine is life-changing. “For the Lord’s portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.” Consider this! You are the Lord’s portion and inheritance!
All God’s purposes for you are summed up in this: YOU ARE THE LORD’S PORTION. All God’s works herald this one goal. He knocks and asks, “Will you be my portion? Will you come and eat with and of Me? Will you be the apple of My eye?” The master taps upon the servant’s shoulder and says, “Come! Sit at My table. Let’s have fellowship. You are My portion and inheritance.” Let us run to Him and rest against His breast. Let our arms wrap around Him and take hold of Him.
